Spreading Health, Happiness & Peace through Energy Meditation Circles
Master Hong at Dahn Yoga Cherry Creek Center in Denver shared a "sincerity exercise" this morning that I recommend. It's designed to build a great deal of warmth in your dahn jon, and boy does it!
Sit in half lotus position.
1) Rock from side to side, really pushing out your hip with each rock. Do this for 2-3 minutes
2) Rock back and forth, pressing forward with your intestines as you move forward and then pressing down your tailbone as you rock back, keeping your core engaged and of course -- you know it -- your anus squeezed. Do this for 2-3 minutes
3) Now combine the two movements. Rolling in a complete circular motion to the right for 2-3 minutes, then the left for 2-3 minutes.
The idea, Master Hong said, is to activate the acupressure points at your belly button, "jejoong," and then at the same spot on your back, and then two more points, below or near each hip. I didn't get the precise names. But I can promise you, sincerely, this exercise really builds up some great warm energy in your core. Enjoy!
I really want to try this. But just by reading it I could feel how it works. Thank you for sharing ! Katie Nim Union Square

Great, thanks for sharing. I have used this exercise in my class but now I will add more about the acupressure points it activates, so thanks!
